That's where I've been hanging out.  I'm making progress; my comments
were more about relative friendliness rather than an outright
criticism.  Most of the intro stuff to rails is SO good that the
basics on ActiveRecord look poor in comparison.

The tutorial on testing, which I just finished yesterday, was outstanding.
