[Locomotive-users] Anyone using ferret with Locomotive?

I tried installing it, but I can't get it to work. I can install  
ferret (it has to be compiled) and acts_as_ferret. But, following the  
basic examples, it always hangs up on server start complaining about

Failed to load /Applications/Locomotive2/Bundles/ 
rmagickRailsMar2007_i386.locobundle/framework/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/ 
ferret-0.11.4/lib/ferret_ext.bundle (LoadError)

I'm wondering if it's just not compatible?
