This may help. I'll certainly try it.

The repository is Subversion 1.3.2 on a local Gentoo box I control. The
production host(s) are dreamhost.com. I think the problem is with the
ruby ssh libraries, which the blog entry indicates are part of the apple
mashup install of ruby in OS X. So, I will try installing ruby via
Darwinports and see what happens.
