Why? Ruby 1.8.5 breaks parts of rails with (as far as I can tell), few to
no benefits to rails developers.
In any case, there is no simple way for you to update ruby to 1.8.5. And I
am not inclined to spend the time making bundles including 1.8.5 as there
seems to be no clear benefit to you.
Does anyone know of a good reason to run 1.8.5 in a development environment?
