[Locomotive-users] EdgeRails bundle ?

Hello all,

I have been searching for a way to use EdgeRails in Locomotive.
After searching google and checking the mailing list I have not found  
a solution as of yet.
Some suggestions I got was just using EdgeRails from svn and put it  
in the vendor dir,
but I think that will break a lot of support / fixes that locomotive  
has (for example Rmagick).

Could someone please advice me what the current best way is to use  
EdgeRails in locomotive ?

The whole reason for switching to Edge is having UTF-8 Support.
I've found this plugin  : http://julik.textdriven.com/svn/tools/ 
rails_plugins/unicode_hacks which
mentions that it has been incorporated into the latest rails edge  
making the plugin obsolete.
