No. The X11 from the Tiger DVD is not the developer tools, it is the
run-time X11 stuff. If you were going to compile RMagick, et al,
you'd need the developer tools. But what you need in this case is
the run-time stuff.
And I've repeated this process twice, now, once on my Powerbook (PPC)
and once on an Intel iMac.
You really need that Tiger DVD.
